MARVIN RUSH (Director of Photography, 'Emissary') "We did three days on location on the pilot. We shot on the beach at Leo Carillo, which has been used by thousands of productions. We did a nice job with it; it was a beautiful beach on a beautiful day with two very attractive people. Disney Ranch had a covered bridge that's very beautiful, and we shot the picnic sequence where Sisko and all the aliens are talking there. We also went to a baseball field right below the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in La Crescenta. It was a fairly secluded, private place where we could make a late-thirties baseball training facility for the pilot."
