A Cardassian vole is an animal native to Cardassian
space. Cardassian voles are about 25 cm long, have little hair on their
bodies, and are generally regarded as pests. They have six legs and are
attracted to energy fields. |

initiates as a field docent for the Symbiosis Commission, and even
eliminated Jadzia from the program. |

Lela Dax was the first host of the Dax symbiont. Lela was
a famous legislator in the Trill government, and one of the first women
to be appointed as a council member. Her initiate supervisor was Jobel. |

Frenchotte was a self-exiled Romulan composer of soothing
music, though he never attained great popularity. Frenchotte's works

some for Arjin when she served as his field docent. |

Galeo-Manada is a style of wrestling. Jadzia Dax and
Trajok often wrestled in the style. Jadzia asked Arjin if he was

aboard Deep Space 9. Jadzia Dax had Arjin set up a gravimetric

they had snagged on their runabout's hull. |

folk tale "The Pied Piper of Hamelin". After an infestation of
Cardassian voles on Deep Space 9, Julian Bashir sent Miles O'Brien a

The USS Nash NCC-2010-5 was a Federation starship
of the Sydney-class of the 24th century. It made several journeys to
Deep Space 9 in the 2370s. The Nash transported Dr. Julian Bashir and
Trill initiate Arjin from Starbase 41 to DS9 in 2370. |

Sub-nagus is a title on Ferenginar for a person in charge
of a particular district. Quark once worked as an apprentice with a sub-nagus.
He impressed the sub-nagus so much, he became "his golden boy".
Unfortunately, Quark became involved with the the sub-nagus' sister and
was fired. |

Trajok was a wrestler, specializing in the Galeo-Manada
style. He taught Jadzia Dax the technique while visiting Deep Space 9.
Afterwards he departed for Calondia IV, but promised Dax a rematch when
he returned a year later. |
