The closest system to the Gamma Quadrant terminus of the
Wormhole is Idran, less than five light years away. It's a trinary
system, consisting of twin O-type companions and no class-M planets.
Analysis of the system was first conducted in the 22nd century by the
Quadros-I probe which was sent to explore the Gamma Quadrant. Idran is
over 70,000 light years from Bajor. |
