Federation scientist who married Benjamin Sisko and had one child, Jake, before being killed in 2367 by the Borg. Her image was used in a vision projected to Ben by the Prophets in 2369.
 

   
 CAPTAIN JEAN-LUC PICARD

SPECIES: Human Male

Captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D. Picard met Commander Sisko in 2369 after the Enterprise was the first Starfleet vessel to arrive at Deep Space 9. Sisko was, at first, hostile toward Picard, but later came to forgive him.

   
 ENSIGN MAGGIE HUBBELL

SPECIES: Human Female

Chief Maggie Hubbell was a transporter chief aboard the USS Enterprise-D in the 2360s. She was on duty in Transporter Room 3 when Miles O'Brien left the Enterprise for the last time after his reassignment to Deep Space 9. She was relieved by Captain Picard, who personally transported O'Brien to the station.

Lieutenant assigned to the Enterprise-D in 2369. She was in command of the bridge when Miles O'Brien came to say goodbye to Captain Picard prior to the ship's departure from Deep Space 9.

Doran was a civilian aboard the USS Saratoga in the 2360s and a friend of the Sisko family. She was aboard the ship when it engaged a Borg cube at the Battle of Wolf 359.

SPECIES: Vulcan Male

Unnamed Starfleet Captain of the USS Saratoga (NCC-31911), a Vulcan, killed during the Battle of Wolf 359 in early 2367.

   
 SARATOGA TACTICAL OFFICER

SPECIES: Bolian Male

A Bolian lieutenant, he was one of only two bridge officers to survive the battle. He was later forced to physically drag Benjamin Sisko away from the body of his wife to safety.

   
 SARATOGA FLIGHT CONTROLLER

The flight controller of the Saratoga was a female human ensign . She too died during the Battle of Wolf 359 in early 2367.

Curzon Dax was a joined Trill, the seventh host of the Dax symbiont from 2285 to 2367. Curzon was a friend and mentor to Benjamin Sisko for nearly twenty years. Sisko affectionately dubbed him "old man" and continued to use the name for Jadzia.

Kai Opaka was the spiritual leader of Bajor in the latter days of the Cardassian Occupation and the early days of Bajor's independence from Cardassian rule. She was one of the most respected figures in the Bajoran culture. [Full bio]

SPECIES: Ferengi Male

Nog was a Ferengi male, the son of Rom and Prinadora, and the nephew of Quark. He was apprehended by Odo, the station's Chief of Security, and put into custody in the station's holding cells. Sisko used Nog's release as a bargaining chip in order to persuade Quark to stay on the station. [Full bio]

Quark's brother Rom was employed at Quark's aboard Deep Space 9, holding several positions such as server and pit-boss, before being "promoted" to Assistant Manager for Policy and Clientèle. [Full bio]

SPECIES: Cardasian Male

The Cardassian Tactical Officer was aboard Gul Jasad's ship and fired weapons at Deep Space 9 because the Cardassians believed that the space station had destroyed Gul Dukat's ship.

   
 BAJORAN BUREAUCRAT

SPECIES: Bajoran Male

A member of the Bajoran Provisional Government, Kira Nerys had a very heated argument with this official, apparently about the Government's request of Federation assistance, just before meeting Commander Benjamin Sisko in 2369.

   
 BAJORAN MONK

SPECIES: Bajoran Male

The unnamed Bajoran Monk greeted Sisko when he arrived on Deep Space 9. He told him that the prophets welcomed Sisko and asked him to enter a Bajoran temple. Sisko told him that he would do so at another time.

SPECIES: Bajoran Female


Quark's Bar Dabo girl was at the Dabo wheel when Quark reopened his bar after the Federation took over from the Cardassians. She was also at the bar when Sisko persuaded Keiko to open a school on the station.
