Sisko is assigned the mission of taking
the Defiant into the Gamma Quadrant to make peaceful contact
with the founders of the Dominion. However, the Defiant is
soon ambushed by Jem'Hadar fighters. The crew is captured,
but Odo and Kira manage to escape in a shuttle.
