	In this episode, we see Odo meet Gul Dukat, Kira Nerys, and Quark for the very first time.
	Ferengi Rule of Acquisition #139 states "Wives serve, Brothers inherit."
	This is the only episode of the series in which we hear Odo narrate a log, which he does several times. It would seem from "The Ascent", in which he records what he believes to be his final entry on his communicator, that he kept the tradition up; however, we do not hear him recording logs in the traditional sense of "captain's log" entries outside of these two episodes.
	Dr. Mora Pol examined Odo at the Bajoran Center for Science during the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor.
	A Cardassian groat is a worthless object. Odo claims that Ferengi would sell their mothers for a Cardassian groat. It is not made clear whether it is a unit of currency (seemingly likely in my opinion) or some type of food/commodity.
	Ches'sarro Setto's name is the first on the collaborator list held by Vaatrik.
	Cortolin is a drug used by Doctor Bashir to help resuscitate patients who have stopped breathing. He uses 10 ccs on Quark after he is wounded by a compressed tetryon beam.
	The lita is a form of currency on Bajor. Vaatrik Pallra had 100,000 Bajoran litas transferred into her bank accounts from each of the eight collaborators on her husband's list.
	Rom uses magnesite drops to open Quark's latinum floor vault while he's away on a business trip. He later uses the same drops to burn off a wall panel in the chemist's shop when he and Quark are doing business for Vaatrik Pallra.
	Meldrar I is the location of a lunar prison which experiences temperatures of two hundred degrees in the shade.
	A pulsatel lockseal is a locking mechanism which can be opened with a suitable desealer. Quark secures his store room with a pulsatel lockseal however Rom claims he can override the seal without the use of a desealer in under 10 seconds.
	Pyrellian ginger tea is a highly sought after, expensive beverage preferred by Bajorans. During her time aboard Terok Nor, Kira discovered that Vaatrik had managed to get a hold of some of the tea.
