 CRODEN

PLAYED BY: Cliff DeYoung
SPECIES: Rakhari Male

Croden was a Rakhari from the Gamma Quadrant planet Rakhar. He spoke out against the repressive government of the planet, who retaliated by killing his family. He fled the planet, with his daughter Yareth, who he placed in stasis on a planet in the Chamra Vortex. Croden himself boarded a Klingon ship, that brought him to DS9.

 AH-KEL

PLAYED BY: Randy Oglesby
SPECIES:  Miradorn Male

Ah-Kel was a Miradorn, who along with his twin brother Ro-Kel, visited the space station Deep Space 9 in 2369. The purpose of his visit was to attempt to sell a stolen item via Quark to a buyer who wouldn't ask questions. However, their purpose was disrupted by the appearance of Croden, a Rakhari fugitive who demanded to be given the item, at gunpoint.

 RO-KEL

PLAYED BY: Randy Oglesby
SPECIES: Miradorn Male

Ro-Kel was a Miradorn, who along with his twin brother Ah-Kel, visited the space station Deep Space 9 in 2369. Ro-Kel moved to shoot, but was killed by Croden, leaving Ah-Kel in anguish about the loss of his twin. As a Miradorn, Ah-Kel became vengeful over Ro-Kel's death, and attempted to enact his vengeance against Croden.

 HADRAN

PLAYED BY: Gordon Clapp
SPECIES: Rakhar Male

Hadran was the Exarch of Nehelik Province on Rakhar in 2369. He was contacted by Benjamin Sisko and Jadzia Dax who had traveled to the planet aboard the USS Rio Grande. Sisko and Dax informed him of Croden's arrest on Deep Space 9 for the murder of Ro-Kel. Hadran demanded that he be returned to Rahkar for punishment for the crimes that he committed there. His "crimes" were later determined to be his spoken criticism of the government.

 VULCAN CAPTAIN

PLAYED BY: Kathleen Garrett
SPECIES:
Vulcan Female

The Vulcan captain of the Vulcan science vessel T'Vran offered assistance to a Starfleet runabout piloted by Odo outside the Chamra Vortex in 2369. She transported two Rakhari survivors rescued from the vortex back to Vulcan.

 YARETH

PLAYED BY: Leslie Engelberg
SPECIES: Rakhar Female

Yareth was a Rakhari girl sentenced to death for the crimes of her father, Croden. She escaped execution by hiding in a stasis pod on an asteroid in the Chamra Vortex. In 2369, Croden tricked Odo into helping him free his daughter by persuading the Changeling that there were others of his kind on the asteroid. With Odo's help, Croden revived Yareth. Rather than turning them in, Odo transferred Yareth and her father to a Vulcan ship.
