	Several millennia ago, Changelings roamed the galaxy searching for alien civilizations to enhance their knowledge of the universe. According to the Female Shapeshifter, although they went in peace, they were met with suspicion, hatred and violence. The "solids" feared the metamorphic abilities of the changelings and hunted, beat and killed them.
	The Jem'Hadar were specifically engineered to enforce the will of the Founders.
	In the virtual reality created by the founders, Jadzia Dax found herself transferred to the USS Lexington as its new science officer. (see also "Thine Own Self" (TNG) and "Explorers" (DS9))
	The Omarion Nebula is a huge cloud of interstellar gas located deep inside Dominion space in the Gamma Quadrant. The Founders retreated to a sunless planet in the Omarion Nebula ten thousand years ago to escape persecution from the "solids". All infant changelings were imprinted with a strong urge to return to their homeplanet, an urge which caused Odo to enter the Nebula and make contact with the Founders.
	In the Dominion virtual reality, Ben and Jake Sisko were eating potatoes as part of a meal, although Ben was too focused on negotiations with Admiral Nechayev and Borath to hear Jake's request to pass them to him.
