Kainon was a Bajoran citizen living on Deep Space 9 in 2369. Kainon had a history of minor criminal offenses and was being detained in a holding cell for public drunkenness when Aamin Marritza was arrested. He was quite vocal in his displeasure at having to share his cell block with a Cardassian.

Kaval was the Minister of State in Bajor's Provisional Government in 2369. After Aamin Marritza was arrested aboard Deep Space 9, and evidence of his presence at Gallitep was discovered, Kaval contacted Benjamin Sisko. He congratulated Sisko for imprisoning Marritza, telling him he had performed a "special service" for Bajor.

Gul Darhe'el was the Cardassian commandant of the Gallitep labor camp on Bajor during the Occupation of Bajor in 2357. Due to his brutal behavior and his mistreatment of Bajoran laborers, he was nicknamed the "Butcher of Gallitep". During the mining accident at Gallitep he was on Cardassia to receive the Proficient Service Medallion.

   
 AAMIN MARRITZA

Aamin Marritza was the head file clerk at the infamous Gallitep labor camp on Bajor under Gul Darhe'el. While at Gallitep, Darhe'el praised Marritza's work as a "masterpiece of meticulous exactitude," but Marritza took no pride in his commander's praise; indeed, Marritza was so overcome with grief upon hearing the screaming and begging for mercy by the Bajorans at the camp that he would often hide under his desk, covering his ears and weeping. He served at the camp until its liberation in 2357.
